Anyone have experience with a cordless leaf blower? It won't be used for much of anything besides blowing off the sidewalk and driveway after mowing, maybe 15 minutes max a week.
Any particular brand seem to work better and how many volt unit seems best.
Many thanks.

I've got a little Makita Lithium drill set and I bought the little blower. It's awesome! Use it for exactly what you are talking about as well as stoking the BBQ, blowing up air mattresses, blowing out rain gutters, scaring the dog, scaring the cat, scaring the neighbors cat, starting fires, cooling barrels, blowing out birthday candles, etc. etc. etc.
Great tool.

Echo 2 stroke If that's all your using it for, battery might well be the way to go. Quite, clean, don't have to worry about chitty gas. A buddy swears by his Hitachi cordless tools so I'd probably start looking there or Rigid from the Depot that usually has an easy warranty, if they even make blowers.

I got a Kobalt battery operated blower from Lowe's. I have only had it about a month but I love it so far. It uses the same battery as my Kobalt mower and weed eater so now I have 3 chargers and 4 batteries so should never run out of fresh batteries.

Just picked one up (Ryobi) to go with batteries I have. Luckily the wife has claimed ownership of it. God bless her, she has even been putting the batteries back on the charger. Works great for just cleaning driveway/sidewalks, but not good for moving thick stuff like leaves/leaf blossoms off the roof.
