I have the same setup. I love the 6.5 JDJ. I won't dream of selling it. I am guessing that it will sell as a set but if it doesn't what brand are the dies?

Do you have this on a blued frame and how does it fit? I have heard the ssk chrome doesn't fit well with the blued ones.

I have a hard chrome 6.5 JDJ barrel and it fits perfectly on a blued G1 frame. This is THE best cartridge for deer in the TC as far as I'm concerned. And with the 100 Gr. Amax, it's even better.

309coug....I have a couple frames, stainless and blue, no problem. I've had other SSK chrome barrels and no problem with those either. There have been issues with the Thompson Center factory Armor Alloy barrels not fitting blue frames but that is easily corrected by opening up the pin hole in the lug just slightly. If interested shoot me an email and I'll send some pics. Can't seem to get them on here.

Is this for the G1 or the old contender frame?

LUIS......Either the original Contender ( which some people refer to as a G1 ) or the latest version which is the G2. All Contender barrels within reason fit all frames. There are instances where a barrel won't lock on a frame, usually because the locking bolts are a bit too high, easy adjustment to do. Sometimes the single locking bolt needs switched out to a split bolt to make it easier to open. Hope that helps.....PM me if you have any other questions..... thanks for the interest...
