...Boston surpassed the previous record of snowfall a few days ago, one which had stood a while, turns out. 143 years long, to be specific. But what is the prize? Al Gore will make house to house visits to explain Climate Change. And solicit funds for his 2016 Presidential run.

The "prize" is getting to see the ground again and maybe a green spring.
Instead of rotting snow stacked 6' deep.
Was a very TOUGH winter for you folks.

We do about a hundo every year give or take a couple of feet. Your prize is hoping is doesn't rain too much durng the big thaw so your basement doesn't flood - that's always a lot of fun. The west has been crazy warm. Nearly all the local ski resorts have closed most or all of their operations.
Got a feeling we're in for a hell of a fire season on this side of the divide.
