I'm a Colt guy, collect them, shoot them, just love to touch and play with them, but, a few weeks ago I ran across this NIB Uberti.
Excellent gun, fit and finish is very good, action is tight and smooth.
Hard to believe there is approx. $1000 difference in price.

The Uberti will likely never be sought after by collectors, while the Colt almost certainly will. For a shooter, the Uberti trumps the Colt. For a collector, the Colt always wins, always.

I have a bunch of S&W revolvers, but mostly carry either a Rossi 515 (.22 Magnum) or a Rossi 720 (.44 Special) in lieu of the comparable S&W models. A belt carried handgun is going to get its share of bruises, so the highly functional Rossis cause no pain when that happens.

Colt has operated solely upon their laurels for way too long. Their products are sub-par compared to current standards. I will never own Colt anything.
