I just picked one up today for $559, sans hat. The LGS said it is their regular price.

I believe our LGS sells them for around $550. Good deal.

A price like that should make them pretty popular.

Ruger has had GAUL for a LONG time.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

I would buy a mini 14 in a NY minute for $250.00, Ruger would still be making $100.00 on the gun....

I, too, would buy one for $250. For the going rates, however, the accuracy just isn't there in any I've shot. I know Ruger "fixed" the accuracy problem to some degree but from what I understand it still isn't where I want it to be.

Yeah, but they have firepower to make up for the lack of accuracy.
