Can a 26" carbon wrapped 6.5 barrel Sendero Light contour with everything being perfect match a normal stainless or chromemoly of the same contour?

Not sure if I understand the question but I have a 22" Christensen carbon wrapped 260 rem barrel that I put on a rem 700 action myself. It likes 130 NAB's and will consistently shoot them 1/2 moa. MY friend gave me the barrel for free because it "wouldn't shoot." The rifle weighs under 6 pounds and goes with me as a back up on most of my hunts.

A light-weight, 1/2 moa rifle and it is your back-up rather than primary rifle?

Yes, if they can match the barrel contour. Call Proof Research. I have several shooting <.2-.3moa.

I've got two proof barrels. One is a Sendero contour. I ordered a McMillan with a Proof Sendero inlet and it dropped right in. It shoots fantastically.
