That'd a first try for me, too. He did a pre-64 Winnie model 70 for me - pricing was super reasonable and quick turn-around. I really liked dealing with him.

Redneck has been doing a build for me. Has been a pleasure to deal with. Fair pricing and quick turnaround. Barreled action is ready after 45 days. Now for the wait on the stock.

I've heard nothing but good about Redneck sounds like he is really fair prices also. I haven't used him myself but will on my next project if possible.
Ive used Eddie Fosnaugh for a handful of different jobs here and there and have always been happy with him and plan on using him more in the future as well. You'd have to call him about above work but think he'd be able to do it.

Maybe he is like me and don't "PUNCH OUT" chambers. The "cool" factor just don't cut it for me!

Sorry Jim, the "cool factor"? I guess I don't understand. You "RE-CHAMBERED" a gun for me back in 2010. Guess you hadn't figured out yet what was cool to do or not to do. I'll be sure to ask ya next time I'm thinking of building a rig to see if it's cool or not

He does great work, a quick turn around at a competitive price.

I'd have a stripper at the Pink Pony rebarrel a rifle before it would make a trip to Minnesoda for a cool work over.

He wouldn't have pissed me off if he had said re-chamber instead of trying to be cool. Just grinds my azz with some of this chit.

I've had both Jkob and Redneck do several jobs each for me and will say you can't go wrong with either of them. They do fine work of the best quality, provide quick turn-around, and offer very fair pricing. I believe Redneck would be the first to say that Jim does some things he doesn't do, particulary fine work on building or reworking wood stocks.
I lived where I could drive to visit either of them until I moved to Colorado last summer. That was true blessing for a rille looney!

Dennis Olson, Plains MT. You don't need a FFL to ship it intrastate and nobody can do it better, even at twice his price...(406)826-3790

Redneck will get back to you. He seems to keep business hours during the week. No personal experience with his work yet. He was helpful and polite in answering some questions for me a few years ago. His helpfulness and reputation were what made me think to use him on this build. I find the gun community to be mostly filled with decent people. However it does seem to have a small population of jerks that conduct themselves in a self important way. These guys are comical to me. Most that act like this still live with their mothers and are likely making up for other shortcommings.
