I was having a debate with some folks, who were misled by news reports that attendees could not bring their personal firearms (concealed carry) in to the convention.
I was able to point out that ccl firearms are indeed allowed at the Music City Center, but not at the Bridgestone Arena.
Then the topic of the rule, that all displayed firearms have their firing pins removed, came up. That wording seems too simple to me, as some firearms don't have easily removable firing pins.
Can anyone link to the NRA rules for the vendors, and their displayed firearms?

I went on Friday. The hall was way undersized. The NRA store wasn't even close to main hall. The parking and traffic was terrible. The food in the tent was ok, at best. The food service was terrible. I should have gone to Knob Creek. Louisville will be better next year.
