I don't think I like that "one size fits all". At first I thought it was a posi-line type deal like the Burris', but then realized that it's an adaptor for 1" tubes. Where the ring portion rises up from the base on the 30mm set-up (without the inserts) looks really thin. Especially for aluminum.
