I usually like darker wood but that piece just kind of struck me. I was going to make some knife handles out of it but the Single Ten needed nice grips more than any revolver I ever had. The other pair of grips, on my 44 special, are Bubinga.

He does the engraving on the custom knives my brother and I make and I decided to give him a little challenge. The engraving is deep. I told him I wanted the blind to be able to appreciate it too.
