My favorite Rugers tend to be handguns. Here is a 44 special and a 22 LR that get used on a regular basis. Those are some good looking grips. What kind are those on that Single Ten?

I made those grips for the Single Ten out of a piece of spalled maple I got at the Blade Show last year. I usually like darker wood but that piece just kind of struck me. I was going to make some knife handles out of it but the Single Ten needed nice grips more than any revolver I ever had. The other pair of grips, on my 44 special, are Bubinga.

Thanks for the comments on my Gold Label. I had the engraving done by Jim Small of Madison, GA. He does the engraving on the custom knives my brother and I make and I decided to give him a little challenge. The engraving is deep. I told him I wanted the blind to be able to appreciate it too. He is very talented and does great work.

Just put it up in the fencepost thread, but this 9.3x63 African I bought from Luv2Safari is such a sweet handling rifle.

Those bottom three make me wish I'd had more earning power back when they were just sitting on racks waiting to be purchased.
