If you like guns, action and authenticity, you may be interested.

An Abduction Affair

It's first in a series. Amazon made a mistake. Ashley Miner is the cover artist, not the author. We gotta get that fixed. http://t.co/4Z6TJoKp0I

I'll have to read all three, Dan.

Is kindle the only type download?

Right now, it's only available on Kindle, but one can get a free kindle app for any computer so it will show up just like a kindle.

This one is almost 110k words so that works out to over 500 pages on the kindle!

Thanks Dan!

Good luck with the book as well.

Another question... (sorry) Is it hard to get a novel published that way?

The first two were published by Solstice Publishing and that wasn't hard at all...except for the editing process. They did all the work and took on all the risk.

This one is self published with Amazon, but a company called "Word-2-Kindle" did the formatting so that it would be acceptable for Kindle. I can also sell it through Smashwords and Barnes and Nobel, but that will be in the coming weeks.

The book is 3 bucks, and I get 75% of the royalties, vs 1/3 with Solstice. Still, Solstice did all the editing and formatting, but I have to do all the promotions.

I apologize for highjacking your thread, Dan (I consider it more "piggypacking" than highjacking), but I, too, have a couple of books available on Amazon Kindle. Please go to Amazon and type my name, WF Waldrip, in the search box. It'll take you to my books, where you can read the reviews and sample chapters.

Sincere thanks to all, and especially to Dan. I hope you sell a zillion copies, my friend.

Thanks Dan! I may look into that.

I write for outdoor magazines and stuff now, but have been kicking the idea of a novel around for awhile.

Of course it would probably be more to practice my craft than make enough money to buy another ranch... laugh

My sales won't buy a ranch, but it's gonna pay for a pretty nice extended 3 month vacation to Italy.

Kindle viewer is a free download for PC from Amazon. Works great!

Seafire,

The vacation will be when Noreen retires in 2017. Gonna rent a villa on the Amalfi coast and go native for about 3 months.

Thanks

Dan

Thank you kindly, gents.

Don't write to get rich, but I like to put out a story that "gun" people can enjoy and even some who were in the dark, nether regions of what was law and what was breaking it a bit might find authentic.

Well, it's a different story line.

Think of WWII OSS, and what would have happened if it hadn't been disbanded, but was kept on as a secret organization, so cloaked, even some presidents aren't briefed on it's existence.

I just downloaded the book. The first two were great and I expect this one to be no different. Thanks Dan.
