Late 70's, into the mid 80's.. Those were some good years, and great fights.
I hope the make a go of it.
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

I used to love boxing in the 70s and up to tyson when he was young and coming up. Foreman, Frazer, Ali, sugar ray... pay for view killed it for me.
I caught the last bout tonight, it was nice to see on network tv again.

Garcia won. It was boring as the other guy just danced around showboating thinking he was winning along with the announcers... until the decision.
It was good to see the judges get it right.

that's what i was thinking, the black just ran around most of the, like a mayweather Nascar was on but I flip flopped back and forth, for 2 rounds. Seemed like 2 pussies so I went back to Nascar. Boxing aint what it used to be.

That fight wasn't any good, but it wasn't the guy who won's fault. I'm going to give it a couple tries to see if they can generate a few interesting fighters and followings.
I haven't watched boxing since late 80s or early 90s. Couldn't tell you who either fighter was or name a fighter at all.
A rerun of Rocky was the last fight I watched...
