Are the 870 20ga.LT. barrels compatible for the magnum receiver. Im looking on e-bay and need to know before I bid. The barrel I have does not have the LT designation on it.

That is correct. LT barrels do not work on the standard frame and vice versa.
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.

Thanks for the info, saved me! It seems impossible to find a vented rib barrel for a 20ga. 870 magnum receiver.
