Very cool hunt. The aerial cable/cage crossing was neat to see. Looks like a great setup for a place that is crossed often and is prone to high waters. Thanks for posting.

Exquisitely filmed as usual. Solo endeavor? 9.5 hour hike in, did it take two trips to pack out?

Amazing scenery, appears you need to be in pretty darn good shape to hunt those mountains!! Congrats, thanks for posting.

Great Video and Great looking country though I would not want to try that river crossing set up. The way my luck goes it would either get half way across and get stuck or the cable would break.

Way cool film. Great hunt. Beautiful country.
I'm disappointed because I didn't see any orcs or hobbits.
Thanks for sharing.

Solo indeed. Only one trip out, usually not all the meat is taken from animals in New Zealand - there's no legal obligation to do so, and on back-country hunts it's totally impractical. Introduced mammals are legally pests. I take what meat is practical depending on the carry out.
