I was at a local gun store yesterday and took to hand a Glock Model 30 to examine. Fortunately, the resolve was solid yesterday and I left the store without the G36.

Later, at another shop, I was reading the Glock pamphlet. It gave the Model 30 magazine capacity as 10(9). My guess is the 10 rounds happens when an extension is attached to the mag and Glock suppliers one of each.

Does anyone really know?

Thanks,

Norm

It's supposed to have a six round capacity, but I guess they could have an extension like they have for Government Model .45s that sticks out the bottom a ways. Not a bad idea if they have it. By the way, the 36 is my next purchase too.

Logansdad,

Thanks, you're right I meant the M30. Some days I can't do anything with these fingers.

Hawk,

I meant the M30. You are right, of course, the M36 is the six-shooter.

Actually, I like the feel of the M30 in my hand better than the M36.

Logansdad,

Thanks for the excuse. I figured it was just a sign of age and the numbers were running together.
