The perfect savage 99 for hunting. Looks nice. A few more pics would help.

The perfect savage 99 for hunting. Looks nice. A few more pics would help. Indeed! While it is the perfect Savage 99 for hunting more pics are needed to confirm just what the value is for the firearm that you are selling. Just saying. In the past I've seen a one side of a potential $5000 Savage M99 that looked good on one side but the other side, when I finally got it in my hands looked like 40 miles of Korean dirt road. The owner said it was due to a flood in his apt. Tough luck. Your problem is not my problem so don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining. As I said above, just saying. Not trying to offend the OP. Just has been my experience in the past.

I passed on a pre-64 Model 70 fwt. in .270 one time. All I could figure was the gun must have spend a lot of time hanging on a rack somewhere where one side of it was exposed to a lot of sunlight or something. One side of the stock was at least half as dark as the other side. Noticeably different. Kind of weird looking.

I did have some left side pictures on my computer. They are now posted along with a few others. Hope this helps. The gun shows some honest wear due to it's age and the fact that it was used for hunting, but it has been well cared for and is in great shape.

Billu,
Those other pictures helped a lot. Though if take this rifle to the next gun show near you, you will probably sell it quickly and save yourself the grief of mailing it.
