We tried keeping an eye on 12 bulls, found 6 horns, no clue where the other 18 are.

That's some nice bone weasel. I may have to get me a couple of those shed dogs! Huntings been tough here this year. No snowline to keep em down and they are spread out all over. Seen more people tracks than bulls. I've got a few but worked real hard for em!

We haven't run into many people yet, this is a little honey hole you can't get into unless you snowmobile. I use the fat tired bike on the right, if the snow is frozen you can stay on top, just got to get out before it starts thawing or it's a long walk out, BTDT. We don't take 'em off road. The Yorkies aren't much help, it is entertaining when they hunt mice!

Antlers gone. Here's a different bull on Thursday. I think that 2nd bull is this same one that came around in Feb.

This past weekend I took a bigger pack because I've been finding so many. I still had a heavy load down and had to leave some on the mountain.

Haha, so that's the common denominator.

My buyer is paying $15/lb for brown sets 350 or better. $12/lb for brown bone. What are you guys getting?

Haha, so that's the common denominator. I'll hide antlers on my property and send my 3 heelers to find and fetch them. Then I reward them for an antler returned. It doesn't work as well in the mountains. They will only pick up the fresh brown ones.

We're finding some good stuff, frustrating to find just the right side however.

Good to see someone is having good luck! Picking up elk bone has been tough here this year. No snow and wolves galore. Luckily I have permission to pick up moose antler on a private cattle ranch a couple hours away. I get antsy if I can't get out and look. Found 2 fresh and 3 last years.

I was in north east Oregon last week and found a few sheds. I also saw several bulls still packing hardware.
