Started its last cruise two days ago down the Delaware river from the mothball fleet in Philly. I happened to be driving north on I-95 and saw it being towed south. Going to the breakers in Brownsville, TX. One of the last, if not the last, all gun 8 inch heavy cruisers from WWII. Beautiful ships. And this from a tin can sailor.
