The batteries are charged, the bearings are greased. Replaced the anchor rope and the winch stap. Made up a new set of mooring lines. Spooled the line, cleaned out the tackle box. Bought as much new stuff as The Warden will allow. It's time to go fishing! Man, I can taste the crappies all ready. Who's going out this week?

I just stopped raining, I'm gonna go bank fish for a few. Then its Mr. mom again, cook do laundry and clean the bathroom.

I started the end of February. Our Crappie spawn is winding down by the first of May. Our best day out me and my 11 year old daughter caught 40 keepers. We limited out on bass a few times too. Going to start catfishing in a couple of weeks when I get my new river boat.

Just got back from fishing with the boy. He out fished me. I love it cause he was stoked about catching more than me. The sun got up and out as we got there. We just fished a public fishing area close to home cause we didn't have long to fish. We got 6 spots and a crappie casting crankbaits. Nothing big but its the first chance I have had to get out in a while and the youngling being with me made it even better.
