OP Czech_Made Campfire Regular Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 814 Virginia	Thank you. I went to the place we hunt at our club to finish planting the deer food plot, took the day off, got there 9:30 or so. I took the revolver with me, the plan was to work on my cast bullets load after I am done with the food plot, but I had game rounds in it just in case. When I pulled to the clubhouse to sign in, I saw three turkeys leaving the grass field for the woods, 50 yards from where I stopped. Actually I heard them first, gobbling. I took the gun and followed them into the woods, with the bushes getting green in Virginia, I was screened from birds and I was able to put the cross on one at 20 yards or so. What helped was walking on the grass, while they moved in woods, they could not hear me either. After the shot one of them flew away, one of them run and one of them flapped and moved away slowly, I followed the last one and saw him against a fallen tree and shot him one more time. The first was a gut shot, I was glad to hit it at all with the rush I was anything but steady shot. The second I had time and support and was for the bottom of the neck.
