Scott, same handle on #2 ? Very nice also.
Dwayne, thanks Sir. I've heard ATS34 may not all be equal given heat treatment process. Elmax - that in the ZT's ?

Here are my two customs.

65BR;
Yes sir the Elmax has been in ZT knives. I didn't keep the 0560 very long but the 0566 has been here more than a year.

On the ATS-34 comment that's absolutely been my experience for sure. My first exposure was way back when with a Meyerco Speedster of all things. It was the first time I was able to gut, skin and part out a buck so it would fit into my saddle packs - then wipe the fat off of it and shave hair on my arm... cool

One of those unfortunately infrequent epiphany moments you might say. wink

Anyway I don't mean to derail your thread sir so I'll quit talking "steel gack" as a former member here might have termed it.

All the best to you and yours in the upcoming week sir.

Dwayne

Thanks Dwayne - not at all. Glad to hear your experience with ATS 34. Impressive to say the least! A lot goes into quality knives. Here to learn from those in the know.

A little Buck Yearling, a Kershaw Scallion and the little key ring knife is a TuffLite of some sort. Don't even know if they make them anymore but it is handy as can.

Canal Street Cutlery stag-handled lock blade that my wife bought me for my birthday from somebody here (can't remember his screen name) from Idaho. It replaced my cold steel tanto blade I left in Texas last January.

I want to try a knife with elmax steel. I have heard its really the best of both worlds.

I typically carry my benchmade barrage which has the aluminum bolsters and m390 steel and my oht leatheman. However, I am in Alaska so I better have a benchmade infidel just because it is legal.

Both of the ZTs are elmax.

The Contego is CPM4 and is cerracoated.
I put the minitrapper case in there because I like those sometimes as well.

These are all of my city knives.
I have knives for the woods as well.

That's been my favorite. Slick little bitch with a great blade.

(Can't find it though. Hope it's floating around here somewhere!)

Hope you find it cause I know they're not cheap!

The handle contour gives it a very positive grip, the stainless scales help it slide in/out of your pocket as smooth as silk without causing any wear and tear to your jeans/pants pocket over time. All that being said l, the best seller is the big Spyderco eye on the blade lets me access it and open it all at the same time with one hand - in the blink of an eye!

I like green stuff. Though I suspect the watch started out blue and has been fading green for a bit.

EDC is a Gerber LST. Low price so if it's lost, no problem getting another. I've had one in my pocket for many years. This is the second as the first about wore out. Not very hard steel so they sharpen in about 4 flicks.

The opposite pocket always had a Leatherman micra in it. I always have a Leatherman Wave on my hip too. Each tool has it's purpose.

The only time all are not where they are supposed to be, is on a plane and I feel naked.......and pissed off at my government for denying me.
