The only thing the organizers should do differently next time is not hold these events in gun free zones. It was a school district building, I believe, which would make it a no carry zone for attendees. Anyone know for sure? Bait is legal in Texas. This was a good example why. CNN is reporting that these two were apparently so stupid and amateurish that the two of them with AKM type rifles got deaded by one patrolman with nothing more than his issue pistol.

Well JB I'm going to suggest you move from DFW area to get the stress off. Second I'm going to recommend that you reread your CHL book. Lots of places no carry applies.
I'm guessing you carry at the PO, hospitals and bars etc.
Give Austin time, we may luck into OC soon. Then you can wear your 6 shooters.

Heard more details of this in Fox News. They said the bad guys drove up exited their vehicle with body armor and "assault rifles" and open fire on the police car. The cop at the car killed both of the idiots with his service revolver. Put 'em down for good!  Nice shooting, officer!
