Hope your boy gets better, that had ta hurt!
I got my gobbler last sunday, had about an 8" beard. right after I shot I saw gobblerzilla come out from behind a slash pile 30' away. his beard was almost on the ground and he was huge. oh well, so it goes!
saw the first brood of goslings on the reservoir last night, kinda cool to see it all starting again.
Beware of any old man in a profession where one usually dies young.

We lost this guy 2 years ago. I don't have a bunch of words prepared for how much we miss Dusty. I suppose it should go without saying that it's quite a lot. Its hard to beleive Dusty moved on 2 years ago already. The times i've met him at chickenbuck were lots of fun and very touching. He was definetly one that touched a person and a guy that will always be watching over chickenbuck. I think of him every time we come out there. had very fun times just listening to his stories! Just light IT!!

I was thinking about him yesterday...without remembering the actual date. He must have been reminding me! There are a lot of things to remember about him but the one that sticks in my mind the most is that smile that shines through everything, and that laugh. Man o man that laugh! Kind of weird maybe but I can hear plain as day.
