Republican senator and presidential candidate Marco Rubio is backing a bill that would triple the number of guest workers businesses could hire every year, after hundreds of workers in his state were fired and literally replaced by foreign guest workers.

With no unions, how do you expect communities such as Bethlehem, Pittsburgh, and Detroit to mature?

We aren't talking about them, we are talking a national trend of screwing the American worker, and it's the dickheads such as Bohner, Bush, Rubio, and McConnell who aim to have as much of it as they can.

These people went to college and got educated and now are being replaced with foreigners who will work for less, and being forced to train them or have their severance packs cut. That's right, greed no longer exists, there are plenty of laws to protect the U.S worker, nobody needs union protection.

Record profits, then they cut out the workforce for even higher profit. Wonderful.

The experience that the American workers gained while on the job, they are now being forced to give to their replacements, there is no defending this, this company just reported record profits, no reason for this other than the greed that some say no longer exists...and oh ya, they aren't Americans. If you were about to go to the unemployment line and there was thousands in severance being dangled in front of you, maybe you are not so sure what you would do.

The unions are only backing amnesty tso they can recruit the workers they fought the GOP to not allow to come in. What else would you have them do?
They fought illegal immigration and got nowhere, so at this point, might as well organize them.

Self-employment ain't bad. I never felt that needing someone else to negotiate and decide my future was a position of strength. I don't support amnesty and I don't see how 'if you can't beat them, become them' is anything but weak.

Hmmm... Colleges and universities graduate kids every year who, with no experience, replace the older, experienced folks that are leaving/retiring/etc.. Been goin' on forever..

Wasn't the whole purpose of "trickle down" economics was to allow business to flourish and have THAT trickle down to the middle class? Not anymore, profits are way up, wages are stagnate, many here used to blame that on a lack of education and training in a field, well my friends, now it's the educated who are next up. Business has bought the GOP, and they no longer give a damn about trickle down and the middle class. I truly believe Reagan would be totally against this, he never struck me as a whore like today's GOP.
