I'm picking up my new pickup tomorrow and I would welcome any advice or opinions on which seat covers to buy. Thanks.

None. The upholstery on newer vehicles seems to be much better than on older ones. A friend just traded in his truck that had 280,000 on it and the upholstery was still good, another friend has one with 200,000 on it and it is still good. The jury is still out on mine it only has 153,000 but at this time is not showing any wear. And yes all three are from different manufacturers so it does seem to be industry wide.
Besides why would you not want to enjoy the new upholstery, why save it for the next owner?

I like keeping the marsh mud off the seats.

Thanks 700. I bought the Cabelas for my wife's outfit and they have lasted pretty well. It's been a while so I'm soliciting advice on current options.

A guy told my folks once that he had bought a new car, and had installed seat covers on it.
His wife then turned around and bought some clear plastic seat covers............... to protect the seat covers !

Covercraft, if we are talking abusive use.

Basically canvas seat covers.

I have a set of cordura MARATHON covers on my pickup. They aren't fancy but they're very comfortable and last a long time.

+1 on Marathon seat covers. Made in the USA.

I've got these in my SUV. Had them a few years and been very pleased. The factory where they make them is about 15 minutes from my house so they even installed them for me for a small fee.

I've had the Cabelas covers. Just ok. Tried a number of other manufacturers. Nothing has come close to GT Seat Covers.

http://www.gtcovers.com

They are custom fit for every make and style seat. I purchase the endura covers which are pretty much foolproof, waterproof, mud proof and oil proof.

I would consider nothing else. When I removed he seat covers after driving a pickup for over 179k miles, the seats looked absolutely pristine.

Made in the USA and are advertised as exact fit. I would attest to that. Excellent product.
