Better than nothing, I'll be hunting Utah General season Rifle Mulies with two buds this Fall(put in as a group so all drew a tag). Should be a good trip. Not expecting to tag a big one but hunting more remote areas in past couple years(hiking in on foot)we're seeing some better bucks.

Got my 12th NR elk point. Really thought I'd draw this year. WRONG!
Good thing I picked up a left over Montana deer combo tag before they ran out. Never hunted MT yet so I'm looking forward to it.

Got rejected as well; really disappointed because: 1. I'm old and don't know how many years I have left to hunt. 2. Saw a very large bodied buck near the end of last season and have been dreaming of hunting for him again this year.
My only hope is that I draw a Colorado tag.

I got mine too, but I can't complain - I drew the once in a lifetime henry mountains bison probably 10 yrs ago and the semi - once in a lifetime San Juan - Elk Ridge muzzle loader elk tag 5 yrs ago. Took 14 yr for the elk tag, so unless I am struck by lightning I can only look at the mount and dream!
