I've cooked some of these that I got in my dutch oven, but I'm thinking about the grill for them

Anyone have any suggestions on how to grill a good Country Style Rib?

One of my favorite grill items. Cook them hot and rest. Salt, pepper and garlic.

Seems simple enough that even SWMBO could probably do it well.

What Greg said or slow and indirect with a hot direct finish for a blackened exterior crust.

Vinegar is the ingredient that gives many BBQ sauces their tingly bite so I have taken to par boiling or marinating CSRs prior to grilling for an added flavor profile with great results and many compliments.

Sounds funny but this has been posted here before and folks liked the results.

Don't forget to slather on the sauce !!! YUM !!! smile

Mesquite wood fire. Melt that fat on hot grill. I like a touch of char. I gorge myself on these.

My local meat market cuts beautiful country style ribs that include the rib bone. I use them for all kinds of dishes. When I grill them I use hot and fast method then slather in a commercial ghost pepper bbq sauce. One of my favorites.

I BBQ bake them in the oven, too, with sliced onions. Heavenly.

I don't even have a grill anymore. I can use the cooking center/fire pit in the back yard, but for Country Ribs, I almost always oven cook them.

I learned to BBQ on c s ribs, was building my 1st house and did not not have time to come off the ladder and on a water break I would pull out and rub some ribs and set them on the far side of grill/smoker heatnway down ...I would not have time to tend them and they could not over cook at such a low temp.. Working late or to the weather..hours late .. Damm fine eats with a crust of dark golden brown, ...mannnnnnnn!
