Taking the lord's name in vain isn't about cussing, never was, it's about using his name to deceive, justify, support behavior harmful to another. Kent you continue to amaze me with how you can sum things up in just a few works. Other people would write volumes to say what you say in a couple of paragraphs. miles

Safariman sure had a lot of people fooled.
But that's on him.
I think the great majority of those at the Fire would rather trust someone until they had a good reason not to.
Based on some astute research and experience from guys at the Fire, we now have an abundance of good reasons not to trust him.
And his use of religion to enhance his credibility is despicable.

Especially those selling Christ. I can't see how Christ can be sold - or bought for that matter. Care to explain how that happens? Ask Swaggart et al. It's not a difficult concept. A salesman is a salesman, cars, insurance, vacuum cleaners, Christ. It's all the same.

I've never had any involvement with Mark here or elsewhere. But I have with the likes of Sean, Sheridan and others I trust. It's not hard to know who tells the truth and who doesn't.

A con man has to be nice. One will not trust someone that they do not like. I hate to say this, but I won't trust salesmen who try using God to inspire ones confidence.

I learned the hard way concerning SM's lies, deceit and bad behavior. Soon after the Ruger episode I received a hand written multi-page letter from him with the "I'm a Christian, please forgive me, I need the money." theme.
I've never met SM or AA and don't care to meet either. If there is anyone that should be banned it is him.
Let me say that "I'm a Christian" and real Christians don't treat people like SM has treated many here on the Fire and other places.
Beware of thieves, scammers and dishonest members on the "Fire" classifieds. Ya there is a thief here too. Whatever!!
