Of the three - and based solely on the best-of in LOW light requirement, my pick would be the Z3.

I love the VX3 2.5-8x36's on My both My Model Sevens, great scopes that fit the Model Sevens perfectly, but a Swaro Z3 3-9x36 would make an excellent scope for a Remington Model Seven.........If price was no object I would go with the Swaro........Good luck ....Hb

6x36 FXII will take care of all of your needs. If you want a Cadillac go FXIII 6x42 and be done w/it. Get away from all the lenses and power ring. powdr

Zeiss Conquest 3x9 is the best Hunting scope for the cost
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

Of the three you listed the Z3. There are a lot better choices than any of those listed for low light however.

To your point, you have it narrowed to three very appropriate scopes. Swaro should be the brightest, followed by the VX3 then the Vx-R. No surprise there.
More to a scope than just brightness though. It used to be my sole consideration but after many scopes and finding unexpected gains in things like great adjustments, field of view, or eye relief I now look at the entire package to form a better indication of my likely enjoyment. A great reticle can be the feature that endears me to a scope.
No one pushing the VX-R but heck yes consider it. A 30mm tube (don't forget) but still slim and trim enough to nicely top the model 7. Love looking at an illuminated #4 and they are heaven for black hogs in dark environs etc..
I hankered to own a Swarovski for my last scope but went VX3 instead. A small part of me felt I 'settled' but it proved brighter than my vaunted 6x42 M8 and, being a variable, that floored me. New Leupy glass across all models is MUCH better in the brightness department these days. The B and C allowed me to take out a hog with a single shot at 400yds when I have never shot anything near that far before. If one thing could be better I would say the the adjustments could be a little crisper.
