It saddens me much to hear this news. I met Chad when he was stationed here at MCAS Cherry Point. He came to a cookout or two here at my house. He bought a couple of guns from me & I always tried to give him a good deal. He was good people & will be sorely missed.

Dave, I'm so sorry for the loss of your son. That post was hard to read so I can't fathom the pain you and your family must be feeling right now. I'm glad to know he was such a fine man/son/busband/father and had a strong faith as well. Please know that you and your family are in our hearts....

My thoughts exactly! Dave, we don't know each other, but this is painful for me to read. I only have 1 child and I can't begin to imagine the pain you feel, sir! I'm so sorry for your loss, and I'll be praying for your family.

Dave, this saddens me to think about the pain and suffering you guys are dealing with. Kudos to you for introducing him to Jesus...you can obviously take great comfort in that. I pray that God comforts you and your wife in this tragedy.
