Unfortunately the tail wags the dog here in NY and as long as the tail is Albany and NYC I don't see that changing

Agreed, but it doesn't hurt to remind people that a lot of us are normal human beings.

I hear about NYS, about the 5 million gun owners and all the deer hunters. Yet somehow NY can only get less than 30% to the polls and only 1 million of those 5 million 'Fudds' to vote Cuomo out.
Funny what passes for impressive these days.

New York State has a population of between 19 and 20 million; of this about 12.3 live in New York city, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties. One man, one vote.

You can say the same about a bunch of states, FL, CA, WA, VA, MN, WI, NE.....
The big cities are full of the libs and outnumber the normal folks.

Voting is not just "given", it's earned and retained. One must be of the age of majority, and one must not be a felon or otherwise barred. One must also be a legal citizen, not just a resident. There are other provisions as well, and many that have fallen by the wayside that ought to be re-instituted. Then again, you as a .gov statist shill never did cotton much to what was "right", only what paid and kept you in a .gov position and funded.
America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.
