I want to take my son fishing while we are at Myrtle Beach. I really would like to find a river, waterway, brackish, tidal area that is public and we can fish from bank, dock, or rented small boat. Nothing fancy just a few hours takin' it easy.

Thank You for your assistance.

I've had several enjoyable days spent fishing off the piers at Surfside and Garden City. You may find exactly what you are looking for at or near Murrells Inlet.
