I handled a Remington 700BDL in 375H&H Magnum today, and I noticed that the barrel had no address and was stamped 375H&H but no other markings. I figured custom shop or a very well done rebarrel. Any input?

sure dont Hanco. The rifle looked practically brand new, after doing some GB surfing it appears to be a Remington custom shop rifle

On the ones I have, the only markings are the cartridge and a few have something like “Remington Custom Shop, Illion, NY” on the top of the barrel about half way to the muzzle. I think one of my centerfiire 40-XBs has an assembler’s mark on the left side of the barrel just in front of the receiver ring; others don’t. On some, the cartridge designation is tiny and others it’s more normal in size.
It sounds like the one you’re looking at a Custom Shop gun
