Trump is a really, really bad deal. I don't need to explain any further. Those that aren't smitten with him know it already and those that are will find out.

1) this won't be your last comment on him. 2) the alternative is Hitlery.

I do not disagree
But Cruz has soiled himself badly in the last few weeks.
Well I presume "lt" will keep his promise, so that is comforting. We can then move on to the phase two discussion, whereby the GOP/RNC blows up their party by trying to unseat Trump by whatever means appear legal.
I wonder if we wouldn't be better off with Bernie while saving the House/Senate and not losing it in the next cycle. Trump offers us a very good chance to lose clout, while Bernie lacks the clout to be too dangerous. (Not sure about that last part; kind of throwing that out as a point of inquiry.)
"Bob, (who supports a certain unnamed POS who would be a horrible choice for a President), says blah blah blah."
"Bob, (that guy who supports an unnamed lying, closet Democrat who has numerous sexual scandals and who fellated a hermaprodite), said yada yada yada..."
I'd say that was sneaky enough for you to be a lawyer but I respect you too much to throw out an insult like that...

Bernie's done. Cruz is done. Your choice is Trump or Hillary.

Many believe the choice of Trump is also the choice of Hillary.
At this point, I would vote for Trump if he is the nominee, but that vote would be Trumps to lose.
Chemotherapy is a really, really bad deal. Sometimes, it's the best one can do, and people think it beats the alternatives. Sometimes, it hurts and it doesn't work.
ltppowell: I see you still have your head on ass-backwards! Trump IS not and has NEVER been my first choice for President of The United States come January 2,017! BUT... if, he becomes the nominee of the Republican Party I will work my ass off for him and that includes, donating to his campaign, working in his campaign, trying to convince my neighbors, friends and relatives to vote for him and I will VOTE for him! The alternative is "the hildabeast" - try and wrap your warped mind around that bitch nominating more bull dagger liberals to the Supreme Court! That fact alone should sober you up or bring YOU back to your senses what ever your problem is. Sounds to me like YOU are gonna sit on your lazy ass and whine! I learned long ago and repeatedly over the last 5 decades, the worst thing you can bring to a fight/war is someone who is NOT committed to the fight and just sits around whining, back stabbing and complaining. These types (you!) are useless to the cause! You should be jumping at the chance to get 75%+ of what you want from a President (like with Trump!) as opposed to not getting ANYTHING you want from "the hildabeast", should she win the Presidency. IF... Donald Trump should lose come November then the pansy assed intellectual idiots running the RNC and the U.S. House and Senate WILL HAVE BEEN SENT A MESSAGE! Would they not? That message being, get off your wimpy asses and fight the demonrat socialists sons of bitches and daughters of whores AT EVERY TURN, or, they will be replaced! Mark my words on that point. That would be worth something. Sheesh. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
We'll there is one good thing about a Trump nomination. There will be a moment when he turns to Hillary on the debate stage and calls her a malignant c^nt, then immediately denies saying it.

Agreed.......I'd say it's Cruz that's a "bad deal" but Trump is far far worse....
Of the remaining 21 states, 10 are winner take all. Trump will win quite a few of those, leaving the other two in a deeper hole. NY, NJ, CT, RI, and PA are states where it is going to be hard to beat Trump

He'd gain thousands of supporters if he did that and I hope he does.
Illustrate the path for Cruz's 406 to get to 1237 while factoring in Trump's 673 and anticipated results.
He needs to win something like 112% of the remaining delegates....duh. Since we're talking about American politics it's still possible.
As the Russian guy says, "only in America". The last time I did the Math, Trump was at about 44% and that was before Super Duper Tuesday was factored in. So it wouldn't surprise me if that was right. The eGOP will have to cheat heavily in order to beat Trump out of an outright win.
So you're good with party hacks overriding the expressed will of Republican Primary voters?
No. Party hacks get to throw their weight in a brokered convention.
The only one that wants a brokered convention is Kasich.
Semantics. Once the voters have been disregarded, it becomes a matter of backroom deals among party hacks. The floor vote is merely the part the public sees.
