Trump is a really, really bad deal. I don't need to explain any further. Those that aren't smitten with him know it already and those that are will find out. I do not disagree But Cruz has soiled himself badly in the last few weeks. Agreed.......I'd say it's Cruz that's a "bad deal" but Trump is far far worse....

Illustrate the path for Cruz's 406 to get to 1237 while factoring in Trump's 673 and anticipated results.
He needs to win something like 112% of the remaining delegates....duh. Since we're talking about American politics it's still possible.

I saw the math last night and I believe that they said if Trump continued to garner the 47% like he's been averaging he'd get exactly 1237.

Of the remaining 21 states, 10 are winner take all. Trump will win quite a few of those, leaving the other two in a deeper hole. NY, NJ, CT, RI, and PA are states where it is going to be hard to beat Trump

We'll there is one good thing about a Trump nomination. There will be a moment when he turns to Hillary on the debate stage and calls her a malignant c^nt, then immediately denies saying it. He'd gain thousands of supporters if he did that and I hope he does.

I agree, I'm not smitten with Trump and I don't feel good about him being our Prez.
but he'd be light years ahead of Hilary, of this I have lil doubt, unless he really does muck things up
and if you want the cold hard truth, we're not going to fix what ails our nation without some pain involved.
even if a guy gets in and tries to do the right thing, it's gonna feel wrong for quite some time.
you don't cut your weight without missing some of your fave foods
you don't cut your budget without getting rid of some things that others see as essential

The last time I did the Math, Trump was at about 44% and that was before Super Duper Tuesday was factored in. So it wouldn't surprise me if that was right. The eGOP will have to cheat heavily in order to beat Trump out of an outright win.
