The problem I see with the article is that if the Russians didkt intend to offer anything of use (jr's adoption story holds up) then there isn't a meeting of he minds. Also I've known guys that sign up for special prosecutor duty and usually they know nothing about the merits of their case going in. THey do it bc it's hell of a resume padder when they go back into private practice

The very root of the problem is that the majority of the people wanted and got someone that is not a politician. That means that He most likely did not know how deep the corruption was and how hard it would be to clean it up. Now I think that He is a fast learner but this is something that He was not expecting.
