Just learned a new word, thanks ...
What did you think it meant?
A government is the most dangerous threat to mans rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims.

Meanwhile, in the afternoon, workers of the intercity water department, building a water treatment station along the river Meuse in Namur, discovered a live 1000 lbs WWII american bomb next to a railroad bridge as they were digging the ground, just 500 yards away from the office.
If it was on target, it must have been dropped by the American 100th. Good shooting, boys! In fact the whole bombing missed the target and hitted the town ... I guess bombing and accurate weren't words you easily mixed in the same sentence at this time Maybe the one found yesterday was the closest to the target or maybe it is not the original bridge ... If a 1,000 pounder is next to the bridge, as you said in your post, it would have brought it down if it went off, correct?

According to the city's authorities, the bridge wasn't destroyed.
Maybe it wasn't the same bridge in time, maybe that bomb was just close to the bridge (I guess you normally couldn't have a single bomb flying away from the main "carpet"). I try to accurately locate the spot on press pictures but I can't recognize nor define the exact distance between bridge and bomb. The bomb is supposed to reslut from the 18th augustus 44 bombing that hitted the east town and totally destroyed a part of it (including the fire department barracks).
