Where about are you? We had 2” rain , lots of hail 1/2 to quarter size lots of wind a tornado west of us 10 miles and one north 15 miles both on ground IA_fog, we are in Sioux Center, IA, about 45 mi from Sioux City and 60 from Sioux Falls — across the state from you the soul of the Heartland. Known during My life, anyway, for the absence of any moderate weather.

Glad you were able to dodge the tornado(s). Lived in or near Sioux City for about 40 years . . . weather can get a little sporty around those parts this time of year.
FIL was a mechanic and blacksmith in Sioux Center about 90 years ago.
