They're very bad ass and quiet. I've shot bunches of the standard Colibri out of 16" carbines and they are ridiculously quiet and accurate.

Matter of fact, I skipped BB/pellet guns altogether with my son because the Colibris were just that awesome.

Can't help you there... grin

But if I see any at the gun show this weekend I'll probably grab some.

I buy their 5mm Rem Mag ammo. No problems at all with it.

Thanks ackley. Give it a look today. Maybe I find it decently priced. Are the cci cb about the same as the super colibri? Is there anything else on the market that is similar?

I've been shooting CCI Quiet 22.

Also have used the CCI CB's.

The Quiet shoots a 40 grain bullet and the CB shoots a 29 grainer.

The Quiet shoots more accurate for me, and just makes a "pop" about like a pellet gun.

Hard to find either right now.
I bought a brick of the Quiet before the crunch.

Another that I like is the CCI sub-sonic HP. It is a little louder, but still WAY quieter than a high speed 22LR.

My MK XX11 likes these.

Midway is showing a couple of flavors of Aguila available right now in 500 round quantities. Just check the shipping charges before you submit your order.

I did, and decided to wait. Worked out to about $7.50 a box for Match Rifle.

What fresh Hell is this?

Your post is a sign that the market is stabilizing.

I don't know about that, I have been "deciding to wait" for about 18 months now, with the exception of 3 cases of SK Standard+. Not holding my breath here. frown

I like and shoot Aguila SE. It is Eley primed and shoots very well for me. It is subsonic. I looked at one brick that I have and it has a $14 price sticker on it.

Aguila Super Colibri's stick about a foot into my CZ 452's barrel. They will exit a Remington or Marlin, and apparently a 10/22, but not my CZ.

Just so ya know before you fire the second one.

I shoot a bunch of Aguilla Target and it is fairly accurate in many of my rifles (great for informal shooting matches and target practice) and extremely accurate in a couple of rifles (use it in NRA sanctioned silhouette events). Is a little "dirty" but does not seem to affect accuracy?

Just my 2 cents,

super colibri was on gunbroker and just searching the net here and there at 60 a brick a while back. So we bought a 22 pellet rifle instead. Its almost as quiet and I"ll buy a case of super colibri in a few years again when things settle back in.

I bought 2 bricks of Aguila .22 LR ammo the other day for $100 total, one of the subsonic 40-grain load and one of the 40-grain match ammo, both Eley primed. Will see how they shoot, but am figuring that 2/3 of the price was for the match ammo, not a bad deal at all, and the other third for the subsonic.

Yesterday at 7:45AM the scalpers and I were standing outside of Academy sports they had loose 50 round boxes of the Aguila standard 40 grain load. One of them told me he was pretty sure they would not have anything today and that he thought Walmart had some 22 bullets. I could see it on the first counter through the window and didn't even speak to him. Scum.
