FC not sure if you have mentioned this before but is there a way to turn off AFM?
Yes. One can buy a tuning package that will bypass it. Doing so will supposedly void the warranty, but I'm long since out of that, anyway.
The cheap way to do it is to just drive in "D" instead of Overdrive. That prevents it from going into the so-called, "V4" mode.
