He has a world view/philosophy that he consistently follows. That paradigm filter affects his thinking and his proclamations. From that standpoint, we may consider him delusional. But he's rational in believing what he believes and acting accordingly.
The problem, his mind set and thinking isn't American as we know America. It's more Third World or Euro Socialist. Those systems have been historically unsuccessful in growing prosperous societies.
Libs talk about being open minded, whereas they're the least open minded creatures walking the Earth.
