I hunted 7 days last week in S.Tx. I went five days in a row without seeing a deer, even on the road. We killed some big snakes though...they like the 85* weather.
I hunted 4 days near Luckenbach over the weekend. First time in hill country. Hot, then rain. Lots of deer though, killed a small 8...pigs and yotes too. Thankfully, no snakes.
