If the thread protectors are done right, you can hardly tell the barrel is threaded when the protector is on. I doubt there is enough meat on the end of the barrel for a 5/8 thread. I think on their other models it is 9/16 along with a 9/16 to 5/8 adapter. I'm glad to see them provide threading from the factory. I hope it spurs more people to buy suppressors and may eventually help remove suppressors as NFA items.
