I prefer the Weaver V-3 for the leverguns. I broke the horizontal cross hair in an old Weaver V-4 which has been on several rifles since the late 1960’s. At the time the V-3 was in short supply so I tried this straight 4X Burris Short Mag. It is a good scope but I believe I would have been better served with a straight 3X scope. I have it on my .307.
