I have had STMAXX's in a 33" under a V8 4runner since mid 2012, I love them.
That said, there is a significance difference in weight and fuel economy from the Toyo HT I also have in a 33" for summer\boat pulling duty.
The ST-Maxx has awesome traction in sand, snow, ice, and they have been wearing evenly. I understand my 4Runner doesn't weigh as much as your truck.
My coworker just put RT's under his 2010 tundra 6 months ago, and he loves those also. They seem like they are a harder compound (for mileage warranty reasons I'm guessing) than my ST Maxx or the Nitto MT he had before. He believes he has less traction in wet than he had with his Nitto MT.
