I'm trying to identify a receiver sight that belongs to a friend of mine. It is in a Lyman 36 box with paperwork stating it's for a 1924 or 1950 Mannlicher Schoenauer. The only 36's I had any experience with all pivoted. this mounts like a 36 but is fixed. There is no number on the sight. Did the 1924/50 take a different version of the 36? Thanks in advance for any help.
