I have checked quite a few sites that have peep sites for 99s and really don't find any that have what I call enough knowledge about 99s to even list enough information about 99s to let a prospective buyer know which sites fit which rifles..To make that sentence easier to process, I am saying that those individuals that are listing peep sites don't know their ass from a hole in the ground..So I am stuck with finding photos of 99s with peep sites on them..all that I see have the site mounted on the tang from what Looks like is two holes for mounting screws...My anniversary 1895 has no screws on the tang..the only mounting holes are for mounting a scope base..in order to keep the rifle 'as manufactured' that is where the peep site should be placed..well, I have yet to see a site that is designed to fit there..Now, I don't mind buying something that doesn't work (my past is evidence of that), but it's at least gotta look possible...Any help here??
