ElkHunter49,You will love it. Have you ever been to Cazan Lake, kind of near Lafayette? Great spot probably a couple hours away from you. Lots of nesting birds in April and May.
I haven't be to Cazan Lake but I might try it this spring, thanks for the tip! When I get a few days away form work I normally head for the Honey Island swamp near my home. It can be a target rich environment at times. Take care sir!
