Just a follow up post. I ended up finding a sightron big sky 3-12x42 AO with plex reticle on gunbroker for $265 shipped. Extremely pleased with the price and the glass. Very clear and easy to get behind. Can't vouch for the tracking but the glass looks excellent for the price point.
That is a great deal on a great scope.
